MCP FOR REAL WORK · NO CODE REQUIRED

You benefited from the Web
without learning HTTP.

MCP can matter in a similar way: you do not need to become a protocol engineer to understand what changes when AI can connect to the systems, tools and capabilities behind real work.

最早通过互联网找到全球客户、供应商和机会的人,很多从来没有真正学过 HTTP。MCP 也可能成为类似的基础层:不是让每个人写代码,而是让 AI 与现实工作所依赖的系统之间,有一套更共同的连接语言。

MCP CURRENT FINAL · 2026-07-28CHECKED · 2026-10-04NON-CODE EXPLANATION

MCP IN ONE SENTENCE

A common way for AI applications to discover and use capabilities exposed by connected systems.

MCP standardizes connection. It does not finish the work for you.

A connected system may expose data, actions or reusable prompts. Whether the work is authorized, locally possible, responsibly supervised, evidenced and accepted is a different question.

WHY DID MCP APPEAR?

GenAI became useful faster than the world's systems became easy for AI to use.

THE WEB ERA

A person finds a supplier, customer, product, expert or document through a browser. HTTP and web standards work underneath; the business user does not need to know them.

GENAI ERA

An AI can understand an email, drawing, order, problem or intent—but useful work often still lives across CRM, ERP, files, local software, machines, databases, websites and people.

MCP'S ROLE

MCP gives AI applications a common protocol for connected systems to describe selected tools, resources and prompts, so every integration does not have to invent its own language.

THE NEXT GAP

Knowing that a capability exists still does not tell us whether this work has permission, materials, capacity, a Human Supervisor, safe local conditions, evidence or an accepted outcome.

“The Web / HTTP” comparison is an explanatory analogy, not a claim that MCP is technically the same thing as HTTP.

THE NINE WORDS WORTH KNOWING

You can understand MCP without reading code.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Host

The AI application or working environment the person is using. Think: the place where the AI experience lives.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Client

The connector inside the host that speaks MCP to a server. Usually invisible to the business user.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Server

A connected system that chooses what capabilities it exposes through MCP.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Tool

An action a connected system offers: look something up, calculate, create, update, operate or trigger—within its rules.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Resource

Information or context the connected system makes readable to the AI application.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Prompt

A reusable interaction/template a system can expose. It can help structure work, but it is not by itself proof that the work is correct or complete.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Transport

How the messages travel. Local/desktop integrations often use stdio; remote services commonly use Streamable HTTP.

MCP STANDARD TERM

Discovery

Learning what a server says it offers. In the current 2026-07-28 protocol era, modern clients use server/discover.

RELATED SECURITY CONCEPT

Authorization

Whether this user and this work are actually allowed to do the action. Discovery is not authorization.

ONE BUSINESS EXAMPLE

A global sourcing person can gain new capability without becoming an IT department.

BEFORE THE WEB

Supplier knowledge was local, slow and relationship-limited.

WITH THE WEB

The same person could discover factories, compare products, email overseas buyers and build a global business—without understanding HTTP.

WITH GENAI

The person can ask AI to understand requirements, compare offers, draft responses, reason across languages and structure decisions.

WITH MCP-CONNECTED SYSTEMS

The AI may also be able to read authorized inventory, query ERP/CRM, use a quoting tool, retrieve drawings or invoke a local service through a common connection standard.

WITH HSIMC INFRASTRUCTURE

The work can additionally ask: who is responsible, which Human Supervisor is needed, what local tools/materials/place are missing, what Authority applies, what evidence proves completion, and how the result becomes a new usable Reality.

MCP STANDARD vs HSIMC INFRASTRUCTURE

Do not confuse “connected capability” with “finished outcome.”

MCP helps standardize

  • How an AI application connects to an MCP server.
  • How a server exposes tools, resources and prompts.
  • How the two sides discover and exchange protocol messages.
  • How modern and older protocol eras can be negotiated by supporting SDKs.

HSIMC builds around that connection

  • Addressable Task Role — what work contribution must become possible.
  • e-Person + Human Supervisor — AI work identity plus real human oversight.
  • Runtime / Capability / Environment — where the work can actually happen.
  • Authority — who may do what, now, for this work.
  • Shared Task Continuity — the same work across models, people, devices and places.
  • Evidence / Acceptance / Contribution — whether the Reality actually changed and who contributed.

Reality Outcome is HSIMC terminology. It is not an MCP standard term.

THE PRODUCTIVITY POSSIBILITY

Not “Bots replace people.” People gain a new layer of capability.

People keep judgment

Negotiation, accountability, relationships, exceptions, tacit knowledge and acceptance still matter.

AI gains reach

AI can reason across more systems and tools when those capabilities are exposed in a common, governed way.

Local Reality joins

Machines, places, materials, inventory, power, physical interfaces and local organizations become part of the work conditions.

Work becomes hybrid

What used to be “non-IT business work” increasingly becomes AI + digital systems + humans + physical Reality.

HSIMC is infrastructure.

HSIMC does not define itself as merely a software technology company, a marketplace, or a Bot-replacement product. Technology, markets, people, tools, places and manufacturing are components inside Human Reality Infrastructure.
