# Why Now — A Founder’s Invitation

## Experience is our foundation—not our ceiling.

On 13 April 2026, the AI+HK smart-glasses photograph in a Hong Kong Government news release marked, for me, a moment of being seen.

Years of standards work, product engineering and practice across borders and industries make that visibility a responsibility—not a trophy. My work has never been only about making a particular product. It is about how materials, manufacturing processes and human understanding come together to create results that can be tested, delivered and accepted.

On 28 July 2026, MCP’s stateless protocol core gave me a new reason to act. I see a new opportunity to organise distributed digital capabilities—and a responsibility to connect them with the physical world.

HSIMC’s direction is clear: build on MCP to explore and develop shared capability contracts for GenAI Physical—bringing materials, manufacturing processes and human understanding together under clear conditions, execution responsibility and acceptance criteria.

Past success is a foundation, not a ceiling. Past failure is experience, not a verdict on what comes next.

That is why I am inviting the world to build with HSIMC—now. We begin with what people need but cannot yet obtain. Through InstantReady and Instant Manufacturing, we reorganise existing capabilities and create new ones to deliver useful products, services and working conditions where they are needed.
